Reviews

“Like a young Nathan Lane, Mastrolia put his veteran chops on display with the ad libs that got some of the biggest laughs of the night.” The Apple Tree

”I applaud Mr. Mastrolia for not turning this role into some over the top drag queen dream. His Edna was more subtle and nuanced than some, but it really worked. She was endearing, funny and most importantly believable.” Hairspray

”Mastrolia’s hangdog Horton made for a spit-on and a totally lovable pachyderm protagonist.” Seussical

”His body language, facial expressions and relationships with the others showed a real understanding of the role and a command of the small things that bring a character to life. To have done all of this in a fat suit and heels showed enormous talent and savvy.” Hairspray
